Regular biography
Associate Professor Pinhas Grossman is a member of the School of Mathematics and Statistics at The University of New South Wales. He joined the School of Mathematics at UNSW in 2013, following temporary positions at Vanderbilt University, Cardiff University, and IMPA. His research interests lie in subfactors, which intersect operator algebras, quantum topology, and representation theory. He has held research grants, including an ARC Discovery Grant from 2014 to 2016, and has contributed to various publications in mathematics. He has taught several courses at UNSW, including MATH1131, MATH1141, and MATH5615. Since 2017, he has served as the Honours coordinator for Pure Mathematics.
