Professor Daniel Chan is an associate professor and Head of the Department of Pure Mathematics at The University of New South Wales. His research focuses on non-commutative algebraic geometry, including non-commutative surfaces, moduli spaces, and the McKay correspondence. He is part of the Geometry group and the Algebra and Number Theory group. Chan is also an associate editor for the Journal of the Australian Mathematical Society. His work includes studies on orders on projective surfaces and non-commutative Mori contractions.
