Chin Ken Wong

Dr Chin Ken Wong is an Adjunct Lecturer in the School of Chemistry at The University of New South Wales. He holds a PhD in Chemistry from 2018 and previously served as a postdoc in the same school. Wong was an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow at the University of Duisburg-Essen and the University of Münster, Germany, from 2019 to 2020. His research focuses on the formation and characterization of non-spherical polymersomes and their applications in nanomedicine. He has contributed to numerous publications and has received various funding and travel grants for his work.

Chin Ken Wong is a researcher focused on the development and characterization of advanced colloidal systems, including vesicles, nanoparticles, and polymersomes. His work explores the self-assembly of block copolymers, the formation of non-spherical and faceted structures, and the application of these materials in drug delivery and biomedical applications. He investigates how surface properties, such as roughness and ligand display, influence the behavior of nanoparticles, particularly in terms of protein corona formation and cellular uptake. His research also includes the design of stimuli-responsive systems, such as pH-controlled multicompartment micelles and dynamic metastable polymersomes, for targeted and trackable drug delivery.
