Joy Tripovich

Dr Joy Tripovich is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Ecosystem Science, The University of New South Wales, within the School of Biological, Earth & Environmental Sciences. Her research focuses on animal behaviour, welfare, and sensory ecology, particularly how animals adapt to environmental changes. She investigates the effects of noise and air quality on animal health and welfare. Dr Tripovich's work includes studies on the impact of ambient temperatures on dog mortality and the development of frameworks for nest protection in threatened bird species. Her research has been published in various scientific journals, including Scientific Reports, Marine Mammal Science, and the Australian Veterinary Journal.
