About
Regular biography

Betty Chung is a Fellow at the University of Cambridge, affiliated with the School of Biological Sciences and the Department of Pathology. Her research focuses on RNA, protein synthesis, translation control, transcriptome and translatome dynamics, as well as infection and immunity. She investigates the regulatory mechanisms of host and intracellular pathogen interactions during infection. Her work employs techniques such as transcriptomic and translatomic profiling, high-performance computing, molecular and biochemical methods, and cell biology techniques. Chung's research explores gene expression dynamics during biotic and abiotic stresses.
