Cecilia Brassett is a Fellow at the University of Cambridge, affiliated with the School of Biological Sciences and the Department of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience. Her research focuses on clinical and applied anatomy, with an emphasis on topographical anatomy. She collaborates with consultants in gastroenterology, orthopaedics, plastic surgery, and oral maxillofacial surgery. Her work involves techniques such as cadaveric dissection, ultrasonography, and microCT scanning with 3D reconstruction. Research themes include ultrasound and MRI imaging for musculoskeletal conditions and modelling of gastrointestinal sphincters.
