Barbara Blacklaws

Barbara Blacklaws is a Fellow at the University of Cambridge, affiliated with the School of Biological Sciences and the Department of Veterinary Medicine. Her research focuses on the immune response to persistent viral infections, particularly the pathogenesis of gastrointestinal viruses, using murine norovirus as a model. Her work encompasses virology, microbiome, pathogenesis, immunity, and T cell responses. She utilizes techniques such as sequencing, PCR, flow cytometry, and cell sorting, and works with containment level 3 infectious materials.
