Erica Bello

Dr Erica Bello is a Fellow at the University of Cambridge, affiliated with the School of Biological Sciences. She serves as Head of Target Discovery at the Milner Therapeutics Institute. Her research focuses on the characterisation and optimisation of complex cellular or patient-derived disease models, and their application to identify clinically relevant, high confidence targets for disease therapy. Her research areas include functional genomics, gene editing of complex cellular models, therapeutic targets discovery, and drug screening in pre-clinical models.
