Peter Caradonna

Peter Caradonna is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the California Institute of Technology, affiliated with the Division of the Humanities and Social Sciences. His research focuses on the empirical content of models of preference and decision-making, employing microeconomic and statistical theory to develop robust predictions and tests of behavior under model misspecification, data limitations, or perturbations of underlying assumptions. He holds degrees in economics and mathematics from Boston University (BA '11), and degrees in economics from the University of Oxford (MPhil '13) and Georgetown University (PhD '22). His research areas include microeconomic theory, experimental economics, econometric theory of models of preference, and merger & competition policy.
