Paul Kushner

Paul Kushner is a Professor of Physics at the University of Toronto, specializing in climate change, climate models, atmospheric dynamics, stratosphere-troposphere interaction, and cryosphere climate dynamics. His research focuses on understanding the impacts of climate change through advanced climate modeling, particularly using the Community Earth System Model (CESM) and GFDL models. He investigates the interactions between the stratosphere and troposphere, the role of the cryosphere in climate dynamics, and the effects of Arctic and Antarctic climate change on atmospheric circulation. His work also explores the feedback mechanisms in polar regions and the influence of snow and sea ice on climate variability.
