Ruby May Arana Sullan is a researcher at the University of Toronto Scarborough, specializing in biophysics with a focus on atomic force microscopy (AFM), lipid bilayers, microbial nanoscopy, and single-cell and single-molecule nanomechanics. Her work explores the mechanical properties of biological systems, including microbial adhesion, lipid bilayer stability, and nanoscale interactions. She has published extensively on the application of AFM in studying biological materials, such as calcareous shells, barnacle cement, and protein structures.
