Maciej Damian Korzyński is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto Mississauga, specializing in synthetic inorganic chemistry, catalysis, magnetism, surface organometallic chemistry, and metal-organic frameworks. His research explores the design and synthesis of advanced materials with applications in catalytic processes, magnetic properties, and sustainable chemistry. Korzyński's work includes the development of metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) for gas storage, catalytic reactions, and single-ion magnets, as well as the investigation of surface organometallic chemistry for creating single-site heterogeneous catalysts. His publications highlight the synthesis of novel compounds with potential pesticidal and fungicidal activity, as well as the characterization of high-nuclearity metal clusters.
