Ralph McKenzie

Ralph McKenzie is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley. His research focuses on Mathematical Logic and Algebra. He was appointed to his position in 1967 and retired in 1994. McKenzie has supervised numerous doctoral dissertations, including works on topics such as the undecidability of the type set of a variety, definable forcing, and algebraic structures. His publications include contributions to areas like quasivarieties, congruence distributivity, and near-unanimity terms. He is affiliated with the Group in Logic and the Methodology of Science at UC Berkeley.
