Michael J. Klass

Michael J. Klass is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley. His research focuses on Probability and Applied Mathematics. He has supervised several dissertations, including works on algorithms in networks of finite-state automata, the complexity of finding zeroes, and strong rates of convergence for differences between the sample distribution function and the quantile process. His publications include contributions to self-normalized processes, iterated logarithm laws, and quantile bounds.
