Wu-Yi Hsiang is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley. His research focuses on Geometry/Topology, with particular emphasis on transformation groups and differential geometry. Hsiang has supervised numerous dissertations, including works on minimal hypersurfaces, isoperimetric regions, and symmetric spaces. His publications include studies on the global geometry of 3-body motions and equivariant Riemannian geometry.
