Jenny Harrison

Jenny Harrison is a Professor Emerita and Professor of the Graduate School at the University of California, Berkeley, in the Department of Mathematics. Her research focuses on Mathematical Analysis and Applied Mathematics, with particular interests in Functional analysis, Geometric measure theory, Calculus of variations, and Mathematical physics. She was appointed in 1993 and retired in 2024. Harrison has authored several publications, including works on geometric Hodge star operators, fractal Gauss/Green/Stokes' theorems, and Plateau's problem for soap films. She has supervised multiple dissertations, including those on fractal geometry and critical sets.
