Dr Hamutal Mazrier is a researcher at The University of Sydney, affiliated with the BIO department. Her research interests include veterinary immunology, genetic immunology, veterinary medicine, developmental genetics, veterinary anatomy and physiology, genomics, gene expression, gene and molecular therapy, genetics, animal growth and development, animal reproduction and breeding, and higher education. She has established her own lab group and focuses on inherited developmental abnormalities and breed phenotypes of inherited diseases in neonatal animals, using comparative gene array studies and functional genomics. Her work includes animal models for human Mendelian metabolic diseases.
