Feike Dijkstra

Feike Dijkstra is a Professor at The University of Sydney's BIO department. His research focuses on soil sciences and ecological applications, particularly in the areas of plant-microbial interactions affecting carbon and nutrient cycling in relation to global climate change. He joined the University of Sydney in 2010 and was an ARC Future Fellow from 2011 to 2015. Prior to this, he worked as a research scientist at the US Department of Agriculture, Fort Collins, Colorado (2007-2010), and held postdoctoral positions at the University of California, Santa Cruz (2004-2006) and the University of Minnesota, Saint Paul (2001-2004). He received his PhD (2001) and MSc (1996) from Wageningen University in the Netherlands.
