Damien Field

Damien Field is a Professor at The University of Sydney, affiliated with the BIO department. His research interests include land capability and soil productivity, agronomy, soil chemistry and soil carbon sequestration, soil sciences, soil physics, crop and pasture production, pedology and pedometrics. He is also involved in soil science education and soil security. Field has contributed to soil science through research, teaching, and academic leadership, including roles in teaching and learning and a Master of Education (Higher Education). He is a registered Certified Professional Soil Scientist (CPSS) and a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (PFHEA).
