Ann Kwan is an Associate Professor at The University of Sydney, affiliated with the School of Life and Environmental Sciences (SOLES). Her research interests include structural biology, mycology, biochemistry, and cell biology, with a focus on enzymes, biological macromolecules, receptors, and membrane biology. She has contributed to the study of fungal proteins involved in spore coating and infection. Ann has held roles such as NMR Facility Manager and Research Fellow, expanding her expertise in NMR techniques. She currently leads a group investigating protein self-assembly and interactions, as well as fragment-based drug design. Her work also includes NMR metabolomics through collaborative projects.
