Regular biography
Richard Bamler is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley. His research focuses on Geometry/Topology, with particular interests in geometric analysis, differential geometry, and topology. He has supervised several PhD dissertations, including works on lower scalar curvature bounds for C0 metrics, Ricci flows with non-compact initial conditions, curvature bounds in Riemannian geometry, and singularities in U(2)-invariant 4d Ricci flow.
