Jennifer Bergner is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley, in the Department of Chemistry. Her research focuses on astrochemistry, specifically the chemical processes occurring in star-forming regions and protoplanetary disks. She uses cryogenic vacuum experiments, telescope facilities like ALMA and JWST, and simulations to study the synthesis of organic molecules in these environments.
