Regular biography
Keith Alexander is the Chair of the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. He is also the Executive Director of the Product Development Program (PDP), a graduate-level degree program focused on transforming technical innovations into commercially successful products. The PDP exposes students to product development practices across industries such as biotechnology, consumer products, and nanotechnology. Prior to joining UC Berkeley, Dr. Alexander served as Senior Vice President of CH2M Hill, Inc., where he managed global business units. He holds an MBA from Stanford University and B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in chemical engineering from UC Berkeley.
