Reven, Linda

Linda Reven is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at McGill University. She holds a B.A. from Carleton College and a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois. Her research focuses on the assembly of nanomaterials into organized, stimuli-responsive structures, with an emphasis on patchy nanoparticles, polymer-functionalized nanoparticles in liquid crystals, and the impact of surface chemistry on inorganic nanoparticles. Her work involves solid-state NMR characterization to study nanophase separation and surface reconstruction. Reven teaches courses such as CHEM 214, Physical Chemistry, and CHEM 555, Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy.
