Regular biography
Ariel Fenster is a Faculty Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry at McGill University. She holds a Licence es Sciences (B.Sc.- Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry) from Paris (1966), a Diplome d'Etudes Approfondies (M.Sc. - Theoretical and Physical Chemistry) from Paris (1967), and a Ph.D. in Physical and Inorganic Chemistry from McGill (1973). She has received numerous awards for her contributions to chemistry education, including the Polysar Award (1982), Catalyst Award (1989), C3 Award (1990), McNeil Medal (1992), Beppo Award (1993), Raymond Gervais Award (1999), Michael Smith Award (2005), and Principal’s Prizes for Excellence in Teaching (2013).
