Hai-Ling Cheng is a Professor in the Edward S. Rogers Sr. Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto. She is also affiliated with the Institute of Biomedical Engineering and the Translational Biology & Engineering Program in the Ted Rogers Centre for Heart Research. Dr. Cheng received her BSc and MSc degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Calgary and completed her PhD in Medical Biophysics at the University of Toronto in 2003. Her research focuses on quantitative MRI for applications in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, particularly in cardiovascular imaging. She has held various academic and research positions, including as a Scientist at The Hospital for Sick Children, Research Institute.
