Soo Hyun Kim

Prof. Soo Hyun Kim is a Faculty member in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at KAIST. Their research focuses on Mechanical Engineering, with specific interests in Mechatronics Systems and Control. Prof. Kim leads the KAIST MSC Lab, which explores intelligent mechanical systems through integrated design, advanced control, and smart automation. Research topics include Motor Control, Battery Management System (BMS), Mobility, and Robotics. They are involved in various projects related to autonomous mobility, AI-based training simulations, and hydrogen fuel-cell tractors.
