Regular biography
Seunghwa Ryu is a Faculty member in the Mechanical Engineering department at KAIST. Their research focuses on Mechanical Engineering, with an emphasis on integrating artificial intelligence with solid mechanics, materials science, and multiphysics modeling. They lead the AiM⁴ Lab, which aims to develop intelligent, physics-informed engineering systems through the fusion of AI and domain-specific knowledge. The lab collaborates with academic and industry partners to address challenges in manufacturing, mobility, electronics, and energy.
