SeongHwan Cho's research focuses on analog and mixed signal circuits, with an emphasis on sensor design and energy-efficient wireless systems. His work explores physical layer-driven protocols for wireless sensor networks, low-power microsensor systems, and energy-centric technologies for wireless communication. He has developed energy-efficient modulation and MAC protocols for asymmetric RF microsensor systems, as well as power-aware architectures for distributed microsensor nodes. His contributions include the design of ultra-low energy wireless microsensor nodes, time-to-digital converters, and temperature sensors for RFID tags. Cho's research also addresses bio-impedance measurement systems for health monitoring applications.
