Sangsik Kim is an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. His research focuses on nanophotonics, metamaterials, frequency combs, silicon photonics, and nonlinear optics. His work explores the development of high-Q silicon nitride microresonators for low-power frequency comb initiation, as well as the design of silicon photonic all-dielectric metamaterials for controlling evanescent waves.
