Regular biography
Heejin Ahn is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at KAIST. Her research focuses on the robust integration of control and machine learning, with interests in provably correct control and decision making, optimization-based control, learning for control, reachability analysis, cyber-physical systems, networked dynamical systems, autonomous vehicles, and intelligent transportation systems. Ahn earned her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT in 2018, followed by postdoctoral research at the University of British Columbia and a visiting position at Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories. She is currently based at KAIST, where she contributes to the School of Electrical Engineering.
