Regular biography
Sungeui Yoon is a faculty member in the Department of Computer Science at KAIST. His research interests include scalable graphics, vision, robotics, and AI problems. He leads the Scalable Graphics, Vision, & Robotics (SGVR) Lab at KAIST. Yoon's academic background includes a Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and B.S. and M.S. degrees from Seoul National University. He is affiliated with KAIST AI and the KAIST Robotics Program. His work has been recognized with several awards, including 1st Place in the Grounded VideoQA Challenge at ICCV 2025 and the Outstanding Planning Paper Award at ICRA 23. He is also an ACM Distinguished Member (2025).
