Prof. Joyce Jiyoung Whang is a Faculty member at the Department of AI Computing, KAIST. She leads the Big Data Intelligence (BDI) Lab, focusing on data intelligence through graph machine learning and mining techniques. Her research addresses challenges in AI, graph machine learning, and data mining, with an emphasis on scalable algorithms for real-world data. She is also an Adjunct Professor at the School of Computing, Kim Jaechul Graduate School of AI, and Graduate School of Data Science (GSDS), KAIST. Her work includes developing novel computational methods for complex datasets and exploring applications across scientific and industrial domains.
