Regular biography
Dongman Lee is a faculty member in the School of Computing at KAIST, affiliated with the CS department. His research focuses on collaborative distributed systems and networks, with an emphasis on urban space robots, IoT-enabled smart cities, and edge computing. His work includes developing autonomic computing platforms and intelligent automation systems. The CDSN Lab, led by Lee, explores topics such as elastic collaboration of edge IoTs, space intelligence evolution, and placeness inference using urban data. The lab emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration and integrates expertise from computer science, data science, and urban planning. Research activities involve real-world test-beds and a range of computational resources, including servers, Raspberry Pis, and NVIDIA Jetson devices.
