Hyunjoon Song is a researcher specializing in nanocatalysts, nanoparticles, energy science, and plasmonics. He has developed nanoreactor frameworks, such as Au@SiO2 yolk/shell structures, for efficient catalytic reactions. His research also includes the design of high-surface-area catalysts, like platinum nanoparticles in mesoporous SBA-15 silica, and the synthesis of metal@silica yolk-shell nanostructures for bifunctional catalytic performance.
