Gabriel Aeppli

Gabriel Aeppli is a Full Professor at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), affiliated with the Department of Physics (PHY). His research focuses on topological matter and theoretical and computational materials science. He leads the Laboratory for Topological Matter at EPFL and is also associated with the Laboratory of Theory and Simulation of Materials. Aeppli's work involves both experimental and theoretical approaches to understanding complex materials. He is involved in teaching and supervising PhD students at EPFL.
