Eunok Yim

Eunok Yim is a Professor at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), affiliated with the Mechanical Engineering (ME) department. Her research is centered in the Hydro Energy and Applied Fluid Dynamics laboratory. She is involved in teaching and supervising PhD students, including Lester Corpin Toledo and Ahmet Cagdas Kalayci. Their work explores the nonlinear evolution of instabilities and control strategies for turbulent flows, such as optimal spanwise-periodic control. These studies contribute to understanding complex fluid dynamics in engineering and geophysical contexts.
