Roger Hersch

Roger Hersch is a Professor Emeritus at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Department of Computer Science. His research focuses on color imaging, halftone prints, and image processing. He has contributed to various publications in areas such as spectral reflection, dot surface prediction, and color image reproduction. His work includes studies on microstructure color differences for identity document protection and the development of parameterizable fonts based on shape components. He has supervised numerous PhD theses at EPFL, including those of Isaac Amidror, Victor Ostromoukhov, and others.
