Pascal Fua is a Full Professor in the Department of Computer Science at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. His research interests include computer vision, machine learning, biomedical imaging, and computer-assisted engineering. He has authored over 400 publications in refereed journals and conferences. Fua has received several ERC grants and is an IEEE Fellow. He has served as an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence and has been involved in numerous academic conferences as a program committee member, area chair, and program chair. He has also co-founded three spinoff companies.
