Martin Vetterli

Martin Vetterli is a Professor Emeritus at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), affiliated with the Department of Computer Science. His research focuses on wavelet theory and its applications, signal processing for telecommunications, communication systems, multimedia, and sensor networks. He has supervised numerous PhD theses at EPFL, including those of Paolo Prandoni, Laurent Balmelli, and others. He has also co-supervised theses of Andrea Ridolfi and Robert Konsbruck, among others.
