Regular biography
Karl Aberer is a Professor Emeritus at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Department of Computer Science. He is affiliated with the Institute of Computer Science (IC) and has been involved in various academic and research committees, including the Humanities Digital Doctoral Program and the Ethics Committee for Human Research. He has mentored numerous PhD students and co-founded LinkAlong Sarl in 2017. His professional roles have included leadership positions at EPFL and the Swiss National Centre for Mobile Information and Communication Systems (NCCR MICS).
