Christoph Koch is a Full Professor at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), affiliated with the Department of Computer Science (CS). His research focuses on the development of intelligent physical artifacts through prototyping, integrating microcontroller programming, electronics, and computer-aided design. He teaches courses such as 'Making Intelligent Things A' and 'B' (CS-358(a) and (b)), which involve student teams tackling real-world challenges. Koch also supervises PhD students and has directed the theses of several EPFL doctoral candidates.
