Bryan Alexander Ford is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. His research focuses on decentralized systems engineering and technologies for democratic society. He teaches courses such as Decentralized Systems Engineering and Technologies for Democratic Society. Ford supervises PhD students and has directed the theses of several EPFL doctoral candidates. His work involves guiding students through the engineering of decentralized systems, including messaging, file sharing, and blockchain technologies.
