Stéphanie Lacour is a Full Professor at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), affiliated with the School of Engineering. Her research focuses on bioelectronics, implantable electrodes, thin-film devices, soft (bio)materials, and neuroprosthetics. She is the Foundation Bertarelli Chair in Neuroprosthetic Technology and leads projects aimed at developing electronic devices with mechanical properties compatible with biological tissues. Her work integrates principles of electrical engineering with biology and medicine to advance bioelectronic systems for health applications.
