Regular biography
Nikolaos Stergiopoulos is a Full Professor at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), affiliated with the BIO department. His research focuses on arterial wall mechanics, vascular remodeling, atherogenesis, and arterial wave propagation, among other cardiovascular biomechanics topics. He is associated with the Hemodynamics and Cardiovascular Technology Laboratory and contributes to teaching and PhD supervision at EPFL.
