Graham Knott

Graham Knott is an Adjunct Professor at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), affiliated with the Bio department. His research focuses on brain ultrastructure, neuronal plasticity, and 3D electron microscopy. Knott heads the BioEM Facility within the Centre of Electron Microscopy at EPFL, which provides advanced electron imaging technologies and preparation methods for biological samples. His work involves studying the plasticity of neuronal connectivity in the adult brain and developing correlative light and electron microscopy techniques for analyzing in vivo imaged neurons. Knott's research has contributed to understanding synaptic dynamics and brain histology through various publications.
