Regular biography
Elisa Oricchio is a Full Professor at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), affiliated with the BIO department. Her research focuses on cancer genetics, mouse models, therapy, stem cells, and lymphoma. She directs the Oricchio Lab, where she teaches courses such as Cancer Biology I, Planetary Health, and Practical - Oricchio Lab. She has been recognized with awards including the Pezcoller Foundation-EACR Award and the Leenaards Foundation Science Prize. Her work involves mentoring PhD students and contributing to EPFL's educational and administrative initiatives.
