Dominique Pioletti is a Full Professor at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), affiliated with the BIO department. His research focuses on biomechanics and tissue engineering of musculo-skeletal tissues, mechano-transduction in bone, and the development of orthopedic implants as drug delivery systems. He is the director of the Laboratory of Biomechanical Orthopedics (LBO) and teaches courses on biomechanics, musculoskeletal system engineering, and experimental methods in biomechanics.
